Al Wahda Falls 3-2 to Al Wasl in ADNOC Pro League

Al Wahda suffered a 3-2 defeat against hosts Al Wasl in Round 24 of the ADNOC Pro League, in a match filled with excitement and strong competition between both sides.

Miguel Borja opened the scoring for Al Wasl in the 5th minute before Facundo Daniel equalized for Al Wahda in the 35th minute. Nicolas Gimenez then restored Al Wasl’s lead with a penalty in the 55th minute, while Omar Khrbin brought Al Wahda level once again from the penalty spot in the 67th minute.

In stoppage time, Fabio Lima scored the decisive winning goal for Al Wasl from a penalty in the 90+8 minute, securing three valuable points for his side.

With this result, Al Wahda remains on 39 points in the league standings.
