Al Wahda led by Facundo, achieved a hard-fought victory over Ajman
Al Wahda team secured a precious 1-0 victory against the host Ajman in the seventh round of the Adnoc Pro League, maintaining their winning streak for the second consecutive match.
Assistant coach Mohamed Mehair fielded a lineup consisting of Rashed Ali in goal, Khaled Butti, Alaa Zuhair, Lucas Pimenta, Ruben Filipe, Alan Marquez, Ahmed Nourallah, Tahnoon Al Zaabi, Guanka, Bakyiev, and Facundo Daniel.
Al Wahda capitalized on their first-half dominance and ended it with a lead, thanks to a header goal scored by Facundo Daniel in the 26th minute.
In the second half, the Al Wahda team’s attack failed to secure a second goal. On the other hand, goalkeeper Rashed Ali excelled in maintaining a clean sheet and saved penalty kick. The referee concluded the match with a 1-0 victory for Al Wahda.
