The Maroon defeats Kalba 5-1 in the 2nd LEG of ADIB Cup

Al Wahda has defeated Ittihad Kalba 5-1 in the Leg 2/2 of ADIB Cup and 7-2 in the aggregate to qualify to the next stage of the competition.

The Spanish coach has entered the game with Al Shamsi as a GK, while Lucas, Fares, Al Kurbi and Ruben in the defense line and with Silva, Allan, Abdullah Hamad, Refaat and Pizzi in the midfield plus Joao Pedro as a striker.

In the first half Kalba found their way to Al Shamsi’s goal in the 19th minutes through Ahmed Jashak before the Maroon scored the equalizer in the 47th minute by Joao Pedro from the penalty point and the first half was finished 1-1.

Al Wahda began the 2nd half with strong pressure where Refaat found his way to the opponent’s goal in the 56th minute announcing the second for the Maroon. The pressures continued especially when Sebastian enters the pitch where he managed to score three goals in the 86th , 89th , and 94th minute scaling the result to 5-1 where the match finished.

With this result the Maroon qualifies to the next stage of ADIB Cup.
