Community: Al-Wahda hosts the Generations Journey initiative for senior citizens

Al-Wahda Sports and Cultural Club hosted the Journey of Generations program, in cooperation with the Authority for Community Contribution, on the sidelines of the Al-Wahda and Al-Wasl match. The “Journey of Generations” program aims to enhance interaction between senior citizens and residents with the younger generation in Abu Dhabi society, exchange experiences and stories, and then activate the language of dialogue between generations, which contributes to strengthening community cohesion and consolidating social inclusion for senior citizens and residents. His Excellency Khaled Al-Hinaei, Managing Director of Al-Wahda Sports and Cultural Club, and Mr. Saeed Mubarak Al-Balushi, Member of the Club’s Board of Directors, honored a number of senior citizens participating in the Journey of Generations program to enhance the club’s community role and the keenness of the club’s leadership to integrate senior citizens with sporting events and events and celebrate their contributions to building society.
