Dutch coach Arno Buitenweg thanked H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Al Wahda Sports and Cultural Club, for giving him the opportunity to lead the team in the upcoming period, confirming the team’s readiness for the next match against Al Dhafra.

The Dutch coach said in the press conference held today, Wednesday, to talk about the Al-Dhafra match, scheduled for Friday at Hamdan bin Zayed Stadium, as part of the 20th round of the ADNOC Pro League: “The players are aware of the responsibility and the need to win in the next match, and preparations are underway to give our best”.

“There is a great desire among the players to give their best, and we eagerly await the match where we will show respect for the opponent and will strive with all our might to return from Al Dhafra Stadium with the points of the match”, he concluded.

On his part, defender Ala Zhir confirmed that the team is fully prepared to face Al-Dhafra, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming stage to return to the right path and compete for the ADNOC Pro League title.

He said in the press conference: “Al Wahda has not been eliminated from the competition for the league title, and we still have a chance. We have 7 matches that represent finals for us, and we will fight until the end”.

Regarding the atmosphere in the club’s corridors, Al Wahda defender explained that the players returned to training with great motivation and high concentration, with the aim of winning points against Al Dhafra and pleasing the “The Maroon” fans.
