Al Wahda draws against Khorfakkan 2-2 in ADNOC Pro League.

Al Wahda had draw 2-2 against Khorfakkan in the 11^th round of ADNOC Pro League in the match which was played today’s evening at Al Nahyan Stadium, with this result the Maroon goes back to the 2^nd position in the standing table.

The Spanish technical director has entered the match with slight changes in this match; starting with Rashed Ali as a GK, besides Pimenta, Fares, Ruben who moved to the right side and Mohammed Ali who plays in the left side of the defensive line. In the midfield, the team depended on Silva with Allan as center backs while Ismail Matar played as a forward midfielder with Tahnoon as a right winger and Refaat as a left winger, while Pedro played as striker.

In the first half, Khorfakkan scored early in the 3^rd minute through Aylton Fillipe, making the mission more difficult on the Maroon from the first moments of the match. After the goal, Al Wahda tried to comeback with strong pressure on Khorfakkan goal but lacking the serious opportunities to score. During the first half minutes, the Maroon tried to comeback with several chances especially in the last minutes with many confirmed chances to score, but without the luck to announce the equalizer, and the first half was finished 0-1 for Khorfakkan.

In the second half; the coach replaced Mohammed Ali by Ahmed Rashed in order to enhance the defensive aspect of the team, and with the beginning of the 2^nd half, the Maroon tried to score the equalizer, but without having the luck to score a goal, in the 63^rd minute, the coach has substituted Ismail Matar and Refaat by Sebastian and Pizzi aiming to enhance the team’s forward lines. In the 89^th minute, Pedro managed to score the equalizer from a wonderful header, and Sebastian scored the second for the Maroon in the 96^th minute before Khorfakkan returns to the match with the equalizer in the last moment of the match, and the game was finished 2-2.
